A creative after-school course where children learn to design, make and personalise their own creations using real tools and techniques.
Little Dragons: Design & Make Club is a hands-on creative course designed for Key Stage 2 children who love to imagine, design and build things with their own hands. Over ten weeks, children will learn how ideas can move from a sketch on paper to a finished product they can proudly take home. Each week alternates between design and making, giving children time to carefully think about what they want to create and then bring it to life the following week. Throughout the course, children will explore real creative tools and techniques used in small businesses, including laminating, vinyl transfers, heat presses, mug presses and Cricut cutting machines. By the end of the course, each child will have created and taken home at least five personalised items, along with their own design journal documenting their ideas, progress and finished work.
More than just a craft club, Little Dragons introduces children to the exciting world of creativity, design thinking and entrepreneurship. They’ll learn how to personalise products, transfer designs onto different materials and understand how something imagined in their mind can become something real. Inspired by the creative techniques used in the Dragons & Daisies business, the course helps children build confidence, learn practical skills and realise that with patience, imagination and curiosity, their ideas can become something truly special.

🛠 What’s Included
All materials and equipment are included. Children only need to bring their imagination.
All materials and equipment are fully provided within the course fee, including specialist tools and creative supplies. Children simply need to bring their imagination and enthusiasm. Over the ten weeks they will create multiple personalised items to take home, as well as a design journal that captures their creative journey.

🎨 What Your Child Will Take Home
Throughout the course, children will create and personalise a range of items using the techniques they learn each week. By the end of the programme, each child will have made and taken home at least five unique creations, which may include:
• A personalised Little Dragons Design Journal
• Customised accessories or keepsake items
• Laminated artwork or design pieces
• A personalised product using vinyl transfer techniques
• A heat-pressed item featuring their own design or name
Each item represents a stage in their creative journey and reflects the skills they’ve learned along the way. Their design journal will also include sketches, ideas and photos documenting the progress of their creations, giving them a lasting record of what they achieved during the course.
👋 Meet the Creator
Little Dragons: Design & Make Club is run by Shim Offor, founder of the creative lifestyle brand Dragons & Daisies.
Shim also works within the school’s after-school club, where she runs the craft table and regularly helps children explore creativity through hands-on activities. Many parents will already recognise her from the after school club, where children have been discovering new crafting skills and building confidence through making.
Through her business, Dragons & Daisies, Shim designs and creates personalised products using the same tools and techniques that children will explore in the Little Dragons Design & Make Club. The aim is to share those creative skills with young makers and show them how their ideas can grow from a simple design into something real they can proudly take home.

Early booking is recommended as spaces are expected to fill quickly.
